Originally from Norfolk, Eleanor now lives in Bristol. She writes from her ‘study’, a cupboard furnished with a Formica table, an incendiary lamp and stacks of half-filled notebooks. Her short stories have appeared in various publications, including Elbow Room, Litro and Prole. She has just finished editing her first novel, Where the Magpie Flies, and recently appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Tweet of the Day to talk about it.
